So. Here's my crappy colored version of the lineart I drew: [link] :iconthegreatandmightyoz: 's version: [link] Unfortunately, I was uninspired for a backround. Any ideas would be welcome.

So. I hate the mouth, like the skin, and love the eyes and hair. I'll probably add a few details soon, like more shading on the skin and maybe even *gasp* a backround. :P Now that I look at it, I probably shouldn't have used red for the kimono when the border was green. But I really wanted her to wear red. SO THERE FASHION POLICE. :iconcrazyplz:

I like your version, too! >v< The skin is really cool! And her eyes look sooo pretty :love: Like green Jolly Ranchers. Those are the best kind... <3

I hope you don't mind, I'm gonna point out a few things... :noes:
If you're still going to edit it, you might want to color inside the mouth, cause it looks a little strange gray. You could take a black pencil and shade the eyes and pupils a little more, and maybe the eyelashes too- or you could make those pink. And don't be afraid to use darker skin colors! Browns, reds, and oranges work well if used lightly. Also, some shading on the clothes would look nice...

Yeah, I thought about coloring the inside of the mouth, but I tried a little and it looked really bad. -____- So I'll practice and color it eventually. And I actually did use a little black pencil on her eyes, guess I didn't use enough... DARN YOU SCANNER!!! MUST YOU THWART ME AT EVERY TURN?!?? :noes: And... how did you know that I was terrified of using darker colors for shading? I always wind up using too much and ruining it. And as for shading on the clothes.... :iconsweatdropplz: Yeah, that's going to be tough. This isn't the final version though, so don't peg me as the phail-colorer that I am *yet*. Wait till I massively screw up the shading. :XD:
